Why Is My Canadian Postal Code Not Being Accepted on Alignable?

Alignable uses your postal code to connect you with other businesses in your local community — it determines your community group, the Ambassador Alliance near you, and the local events you see. If Alignable is not accepting your Canadian postal code, it most likely has not been added to our database yet. Alignable syncs postal codes from Google Maps, and new codes are added regularly, but some may not be in our system yet.

How to Fix It

Step 1: Try entering your postal code with no spaces.

Canadian postal codes are written with a space in the middle (for example, M6E 1A5). Because U.S. zip codes do not have spaces, our system may not recognize the spaced format. Try entering your postal code without the space (for example, M6E1A5) and see if it is accepted.

Step 2: If that does not work, submit a request to have your postal code added.

If removing the space does not resolve the issue, your postal code will need to be added to our database manually. Complete this form and our team will get it added so you can sign up or update your address on Alignable.
