Spotlight is a Premium feature that lets Premium and Premium Plus members highlight one recommendation at the top of their profile. Paired with your business name, featured tags, connection count, and total recommendations, a spotlight quickly answers who you are, what you do, and — most importantly — why people trust your business.
Note: You can only spotlight recommendations that include a written reason. Recommendations without a reason will not have the option to spotlight.
How Do I Spotlight a Recommendation?
- Go to your Business Profile
- Scroll to the Recommendations Received section
- Find the recommendation you want to spotlight and click Spotlight
You can only spotlight one recommendation at a time. Once set, the spotlighted recommendation appears at the top of your profile for all visitors to see.
How Do I Change or Remove My Spotlight?
You can update or remove your spotlight at any time from the Recommendations Received section of your profile. To change it, simply click Spotlight on a different recommendation — it will replace the current one. To remove it, use the remove option on your currently spotlighted recommendation.
Consider reaching out to the member who wrote your spotlighted recommendation and thanking them — it goes a long way.
