Your business address is visible on your profile by default. Hiding it removes your street address but keeps your city, state, and zip code visible to other members — for example, "123 Main Street, Denver, CO 80220" becomes "Denver, CO 80220." Hiding your address does not affect your local discoverability. You are already placed in your local community when you sign up, and that community appears on your profile regardless of your address setting.
Should You Hide Your Address?
You should hide your street address if your business is home-based, operates online only, or you work remotely and prefer to keep your home address private.
If you have a physical location that customers visit, keep your full address visible. Members may be looking for a nearby business to walk into, and hiding your address makes that harder.
How to Hide or Unhide Your Address
- Log in and click My Business Profile in the top right corner of your screen.
- Scroll to the address section on the right side of the page (on mobile, this block appears at the bottom) and click Edit.
- Below your business address, check the Hide Address box to hide your street address, or uncheck it to show your full address.
- Click Save.
