Allie doesn't pull names at random. Every suggestion is based on a specific reason, and Allie shows you that reason directly on the card.
Where to find Allie's suggestions
In addition to your home feed, Allie's suggestions appear in the My Network tab under Allie's Picks. Each card shows you the connection Allie is recommending along with a Mutual Opportunities section that explains exactly why they surfaced, for example, who you could introduce them to and who they could introduce you to.
What Allie looks at
Allie cross-references your profile with the networks of your existing connections to find the most valuable people to reach out to right now. It looks at:
Your tags. Your Ideal Customer tags and Businesses We Can Partner With tags tell Allie who you want to meet and who you can refer. Allie uses these to identify connections whose networks overlap with your goals.
Your existing connections. Allie focuses on people already in your network, looking for relationships worth deepening rather than sending you after strangers.
Timing. Allie considers signals like how long it's been since you've spoken with someone or whether there's a timely reason to reconnect.
Your conversations with Allie. The more you interact with Allie and the more specific you are about your priorities, the more accurate its suggestions become. Allie learns from what you tell it.
If a suggestion isn't a good fit
Click the three dots on the connection card and select Not interested. This removes the suggestion and helps Allie recalibrate for future recommendations.
If suggestions consistently feel off, check your tags. Outdated or incomplete tags are the most common reason Allie surfaces connections that don't quite fit.
