How Do I Get Started with Allie?

When you log in as a paid member, Allie greets you and introduces itself right on your home feed. You'll see something like:

"I'm Allie, your networking assistant. I look at your connections, find the people worth reaching out to, and get sharper about it each time we talk."

From there, Allie analyzes your profile and asks you a question about your current priorities, such as whether you're focused on growing your referral partner base or targeting a specific customer segment. You can respond by clicking one of the suggested reply buttons or by typing your own answer.

This first conversation is how Allie gets oriented to what matters to you right now, so the more specific you are, the better your recommendations will be.

Before you dive in: update your tags

Allie reads your profile to make its first recommendations. If your Ideal Customer tags or Businesses We Can Partner With tags are out of date, Allie is working from incomplete information. Take a few minutes to review them before your first conversation.

How Allie works day to day

Each time you log in, Allie builds a fresh plan based on your current connections and goals. It identifies who is worth reaching out to today and tells you why. When you're ready to act on a suggestion, Allie shows you a button to take the next step. Nothing happens until you click it.

Allie also learns from your conversations. The more you interact with it, the more relevant its suggestions become.

Giving Allie feedback

You'll see thumbs up and thumbs down icons on Allie's messages. Use them to let Allie know when a suggestion is helpful or off the mark. This helps Allie get sharper over time.

Starting a conversation with Allie

You can also talk to Allie directly by accessing Ask Allie from the Network or Events tabs. Use it to ask questions, think through a networking decision, or get suggestions beyond your daily plan.
