Tags on Alignable aren't directly editable — to update a tag, you remove the existing one and replace it with a new or different tag. It only takes a few seconds, and you can use any pre-existing tag or create a custom one.
Tags are a paid feature. If you downgrade your account, you'll lose access to your tags, but they won't be deleted — you'll regain full access when you upgrade again.
To edit a tag on a connection:
- Log in to Alignable.
- Navigate to My Network.
- Click on the connection whose tag you'd like to update.
- You'll be taken to their profile.
- On the left side of the screen, find the Tags section.
- Click the X on the tag you want to replace to remove it.
- Click the [+Add] button.
- Select a tag from the dropdown, or type a new one to create your own.
The updated tag is saved immediately. You can add multiple tags to a single connection, so you don't need to remove an existing one unless you want to replace it specifically.
