If you've added a note to a connection and need to update it — whether you have new information to add or want to correct something — you can edit it anytime from their profile. Notes are fully editable, so your connection history can evolve as your relationships do.
To edit a note on a connection:
- Log in to Alignable.
- Navigate to My Network.
- Click on the connection whose note you'd like to edit.
- You'll be taken to their profile.
- On the left side of the screen, find the Notes section.
- Click the down arrow beside the note you'd like to edit.
- Click into the Notes text box and make your changes.
- Click Save Note when you're done.
Your updated note is saved immediately. If you have multiple notes on a connection, each one is listed separately and can be edited individually — updating one won't affect the others.
Keeping your notes current is a simple way to make sure you always have the right context when you reconnect with someone.
