Alignable does not support direct video file uploads anywhere on the platform — not in posts, groups, communities, or on your profile. This applies to all video formats.
Why Direct Video Upload Is Not Supported
Alignable's priority is maintaining a safe, professional environment for all members. Without the ability to review video content before it is shared, inappropriate, misleading, or unsafe material could reach the community. Direct uploads also present moderation challenges at scale that are difficult to manage without specialized tools. For these reasons, Alignable has chosen not to support direct video uploads at this time.
How to Share Video Content on Alignable
You can still share video with your network, in groups, and in communities by posting a link to a video hosted on a trusted third-party platform such as YouTube or Loom. These platforms have their own content moderation and community standards in place. Simply include the video link in your post or message along with context for why you are sharing it, and members can click to view it on the hosting platform.
