Adding images to your posts can greatly enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your content. This guide will walk you through the steps to upload images to your posts easily.
How to Upload an Image
- Navigate to the desired page: You can post to a group or to your network from the home feed.

Click "Post to a Group" or "Post to Your Network" (from the home feed): This will open the posting interface.

Click on the image icon: Look for an icon that resembles a picture or a landscape. Click on it to open the image upload tool.
- Select the file to upload: Images are cropped to an aspect ratio of 1.6 (8:5). We recommend using file sizes 3MB or less.
- Adjust the size and position: Use the slider to select the size. Click and drag the box to select the position on the image.
- Click the purple post button to upload: Make sure you have relevant text with your image to start a great discussion!
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Image Not Uploading
- Ensure the image file type is supported (e.g., JPG, PNG, GIF).
- Ensure the file size is within the upload limits — try uploading a smaller image.
- Ensure you are using a stable internet connection.
- Ensure you are using the most up to date internet browser available.

Image Guidelines
- You must own the rights or have proof of permission to use images.
- You may be subject to fines if you use copyrighted or trademarked items without permission.
- For free images try using apps like Canva, Unsplash, Bing, and Google Images.
- No nudity, explicit, lewd, or sexual images are allowed.
- No images portraying abuse, hate, terrorism, trafficking, or similar content are allowed.
- Do not add contact information to your images.
