Polls are available exclusively to group leaders and can only be posted in groups you lead. The poll option does not appear in groups you belong to but do not lead, and is not available in communities or your network feed.
Polls are a great tool for group leaders — use them to gather feedback from members, crowdsource opinions, understand what your audience is thinking, or spark a conversation around a topic relevant to the group. Results can inform your content, your business strategy, or simply help you get to know your members better.
How to Create a Poll
- Click Create Post at the top of your home feed.
- From the slide-out menu on the right, select Poll.
- Write your question, add between 1 and 5 answer choices, and select a close date for the poll.
- Click Share to post the poll to your group.
