How Do I Create a Group Chat?

Alignable's messaging feature lets you create a group chat with up to 30 of your connections. Group chats are a great way to start a discussion, collaborate on a co-promotion, or coordinate a local event.

How to Create a Group Chat

1. Log into Alignable.
2. Click Messages in the top navigation bar.
3. Click New Chat in the top left of the Messages page.
4. A menu will appear where you can find and select connections to add. You can pick from the suggestions list or search by name or business name. To remove someone from your selection, click Remove below their photo.
5. (Optional) Give your chat a name. This name and all messages will be visible to everyone in the group, so choose something that describes what the chat is about.
6. Click Create.
7. Once you send your first message, all participants will receive a welcome message.

Note: Do not spam participants. Repeated unsolicited messages can be reported, may damage your reputation, and could result in removal from the platform.
