Messaging is one of the most powerful tools on Alignable and one of the most underused. Connections are just a starting point. You cannot build a real business relationship without real conversations. It is the follow-up messages, the check-ins, and the genuine exchanges that move someone through the know, like, and trust process and turn a connection into a client, referral partner, or long-term relationship.
How to Send a Message
- Click the My Network button in the top navigation.
- Find the connection you want to message and click on their profile.
- Click the Message button on their profile page.
- Type your message in the message field. Paid members can use Allie, Alignable's AI assistant, to help draft a personalized message based on both profiles. All members can write their own message from scratch.
- Click Send.
What to Say
Messages on Alignable are for building relationships, not making sales. Lead with genuine curiosity about their business, something you noticed on their profile, or a follow-up from a previous conversation. Members who show up consistently and authentically are the ones who build the kind of network that actually drives referrals and business growth.
