If you recently upgraded but your profile still shows a free plan, there are two common explanations. The most likely cause is that the upgrade landed on a different Alignable account.
Most Likely: The Upgrade Is on a Different Account
If you have ever signed up for Alignable with more than one email address, the paid membership is likely active on a different account than the one you are currently logged into. Check your email inboxes — including any secondary addresses — for Alignable receipts or billing emails, then try logging in with those addresses to find the account where the upgrade applied.
Once you locate it, you have two options:
- Switch to that account and use it as your primary Alignable account going forward.
- Cancel the subscription on that account and re-subscribe on the account you prefer to use.
If you would like to consolidate into one account, see How Can I Merge My Alignable Accounts?
Less Likely: Your Account Was Downgraded for a Missed Payment
If a payment failed and multiple reminder emails went unanswered for over a month, Alignable will downgrade the account to a free plan. This does not happen immediately — you would have received several billing notifications before it took effect. If you think this may be the case, check your Alignable payment history and your email inbox for any missed payment alerts. If your account was downgraded, you will need to re-subscribe to restore your paid features.
