How Does Alignable Identity Verification Work?

Alignable requires you to verify your identity before making important changes to your account. This is a security feature designed to protect you — if someone else ever tries to change your account without your knowledge, you will know about it immediately.

What Triggers Verification

You will be prompted to verify your identity when:

  • Editing your account settings or profile details
  • Adding or editing team members
  • Making account-level changes such as upgrading, cancelling, or reviewing billing

How to Complete Verification

When prompted, Alignable sends a verification code to the email address on your account. The code is valid for 30 minutes.

  1. When you see the verification prompt, confirm your identity to proceed.

  2. You will be asked to enter a code.

  3. Check your email for a message from Alignable containing your code.

  4. If this was you, enter the code in the app. If this was not you, click This Wasn't Me in the email.

If You Did Not Request This Change

Clicking This Wasn't Me tells Alignable that someone else is attempting to access your account. All active sessions will be immediately logged out and password login will be disabled. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password and regain access to your account.
