Alignable may automatically log you out for security reasons, or if your browser cookies were cleared or not stored properly. Understanding the cause can help you get back in quickly and prevent it from happening again.
Common Reasons for Automatic Logout
- Failed identity verification: The most common reason is failing to confirm a security code when updating account information such as your email address or business name. If the code is not entered in time or is skipped, Alignable will log you out for security.
- Browser cache or cookies cleared: Clearing your browser history or cache removes stored cookies, which Alignable uses to keep you logged in. This will result in an automatic logout.
- Cookies not stored: If your browser is set to block or not save cookies, Alignable will not be able to maintain your session.
How to Get Back Into Your Account
If you have been logged out, Alignable will send you an email with an auto-login link so you can access your account and reset your password without needing to remember it.
About Identity Verification
Identity verification is a security feature that requires you to confirm your identity before editing account settings, team members, or profile details. When triggered, Alignable sends a verification code to your email address. The email also contains a link you can click to confirm or deny that you made the request.
For more details, see Identity Verification Feature.
