How can I reset my password?

If you've forgotten your password, or have not created a password for your account - no worries. You can reset it at any time.

Changing your password can be done in two main ways depending on if you can log into your account, or if you cannot at this time:

I am currently logged into Alignable

If you can't remember your previous password, follow these steps to set up a new password:

  1. To start, you will want to go to your Account Settings page.

    You can find the account settings page in the drop-down menu under "My Business" - accessed via the  arrow (in the top-right corner of your screen). See image below:

  2. Under Account Settings, you will see the following box (as pictured below):

  3. Click the "I forgot my password" link:

  4. You will be emailed instructions for resetting your password at that email address (this email can sometimes end up in a Spam or Promotions folder of your Inbox). Click on "Reset My Password":

    Note

    The reset password link emailed to you can only be clicked one time before it expires (to protect your account). If you receive an error message saying that your link was already used, try the process again from the "Forgot Your Password" page, here.

    Attention

    If you don't believe you received the reset password email, please read below:
    • Check your spam folder.
    • Check whether the email may have been filtered into any other folders you have set up for your inbox.
    • Check any email accounts you own as it may be possible the email under your account is different than the account you believe you had set up the account under. You can confirm which email you have under your in the Account Settings page.
    • If you are using Gmail, it is possible the email may have been filtered into the Social or Promotions folder.

    • We have had instances of email providers automatically archiving the email within member's inboxes. Try searching for Reset Password Instructions in the search bar of your inbox to find the email.

    • If you did not receive an email, please try requesting another email by clicking Screen_Shot_2019-07-25_at_1.27.40_PM.png. If you continue to have issues receiving the verification email, please email support@alignable.com and we'd be happy to help solve this issue.
  5. Type in the new password you would like to set on your Alignable account in both cells. Once done, click on "Change Password" to finish:

For future logins, you can use either your new password
or log in using an email sign-in token.

I am signed out of Alignable

If you don’t have a password or can't remember your previous password, follow these steps to set up a new password:

  1. Go to the login page (see image below) by clicking here.

  2. Click on "Forgot Your Password" on the bottom of the box as seen in the image below:

  3. On the following page, enter the email address associated with your account and click the green "Reset Password" button:

  4. You will be emailed instructions for resetting your password at that email address (this email can sometimes end up in a Spam or Promotions folder of your Inbox).
