What Ad Type Should I Use for My Alignable Sponsorship?

Alignable offers five sponsorship ad types. The one you choose affects how your ad appears to members and how well it performs. If you are not sure where to start, choose Custom Ad.

Custom Ad (Recommended)

Custom Ads consistently outperform all other ad types. They give you full control over your image, headline, and call to action. Custom Ads are built using data from high- and low-performing ads across Alignable, and they account for your industry and target audience to help you craft a more personalized message. As a result, they tend to get higher click rates and engagement than any other ad type.

Product or Service Ad

Product or Service is a solid second choice if you have multiple well-written product or service entries on your profile with a strong, branded image already attached. The ad pulls directly from those profile entries, so the better your profile content, the better the ad.

Promotion or Event

Promotion or Event is the third-best performing ad type. Like Product or Service, it requires a strong, well-written listing on your business profile to perform well. Keep in mind that promotions and events have end dates, so this ad type requires more active monitoring and updating than others. If your promotion or event listing is current and detailed, it can be an effective option.

Spotlighted Recommendation

This ad type displays a recommendation someone left on your profile that you have highlighted as a Spotlight. It is only available to Premium and Premium+ members. If you have a strong recommendation you want to lead with, this can be a useful trust-building tool, but it tends to underperform compared to the top three ad types. Business Profile

The Business Profile ad displays only your name and company name with no additional context or information. Because it gives members very little to engage with, it consistently underperforms and is generally not recommended.
