If you've created a networking event and need to make changes, you can update your event at any time before it takes place. Whether the venue has changed, you need to adjust the date and time, swap out the cover image, or update the event description, all of that is editable directly from your account.
Who can edit events?
Only Group Leaders and Ambassadors can host and manage events on Alignable. If you don't see the option to edit, check with your group's administrator to confirm your role.
What you can edit
You can update any of the following on an existing event:
- Date and time
- Location
- Event image
- Event title and description
How to edit your event
- Go to the My Events page.
- Find the event you want to edit.
- Click Edit Event.
- Make your changes to the date, time, location, image, or description.
- Click Update to save your changes.
Your event will reflect the updated details immediately.
Tip: If you've made a significant change — like a new date or venue — it's a good idea to send a message to your attendees so they're not caught off guard. Alignable lets you message your event attendees directly from the event page via an announcement.
