To ensure that your group is a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for sharing discussions, conversations, and value for all businesses, you might find yourself needing to pin important content, or hide content that may violate your group's rules and guidelines or that is simply not appropriate.
Because of this, we've built certain moderator tools you can use to moderate content at your discretion and grant certain group members their own moderator permissions.
In this article, you'll learn how to:
- Pin posts to the top of your group's feed.
- Hide posts from view to group members.
- Granting moderator permission to group members.
Pin posts to the top of your group's feed.

How to grant moderator permissions to a group member?
Your group can grow a lot, and in doing so can overwhelm your ability to moderate your group's content in order to maintain value for all members involved. Giving someone else in your group moderator permissions can allow you to, as a team, moderate content successfully.
To grant moderator permissions to a member in your group follow these steps:
Find your group's members and click See All.
In your group's left-hand rail, you'll find tools to manage and track your group's members. Start by clicking See All to see your group's members.
Find the group member you want to make a moderator.
A list of your group's contacts will appear. Find the member you want to have become a moderator or use the search bar to search all of your group's contacts, and click on the (...) button.
A dropdown will open where you can select Make Moderator to make that member a moderator.
To remove a member's moderator permissions, simply follow the same process of opening the (...) button and click Remove Moderator.
