Creating clear group guidelines and rules to outline the expectations for how group members should interact within the group is important to ensure a welcome and active group environment.
When creating your group rules and guidelines be clear about the behavior you expect from your members. Guidelines prevent anyone from ruining the experience for others.
They also clearly state up front that anyone who breaks the rules will be asked to leave. Keep your guidelines simple (No spamming, be kind, be generous, only share relevant content, etc.)To add or edit your group's Rules & Guidelines you can follow the steps outlined below:

Open your group.
Go to the My Groups page and open the group you created.

Open group settings.
Click on the gray gear icon next to the title of your group and click Group Settings. -
Add your Rules & Guidelines and Save.
Add your group's Rules & Guidelines and click Save. Once saved your rules and guidelines will appear on the left-hand rail below your group's description.
