If you see a charge from Alignable that you do not recognize, there is almost always an explanation. Before contacting support, take a few minutes to check the common causes below — most members find the answer without needing to reach out.
How Alignable Appears on Your Statement
Alignable charges appear differently depending on what was purchased:
- ALIGNABLE S + number — a community advertising sponsorship
- ALIGNABLE V + number — a basic membership
- ALIGNABLE P + number — a Premium membership
- ALIGNABLE P+ + number — a Premium+ membership
If you see one of these on your statement, the charge came from Alignable.
Common Reasons for an Unexpected Charge
Forgotten subscription: It is easy to sign up for a paid plan and forget it is active, especially if you have not logged in recently. Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle unless you cancel.
Automatic renewal: All paid Alignable subscriptions and sponsorships renew automatically. If your billing date arrived and you were not expecting it, check your subscription details in your account.
Two charges close together: If a previous payment failed and was later collected after a retry, you may see that late charge alongside your next regular billing date — making it look like two charges in the same month. This is not a duplicate; it is a delayed payment followed by the next scheduled one.
Someone else used your card: A household member, co-worker, or former employee may have used your payment method to sign up for a paid Alignable service. You will only be able to see charges on your own account, so check with others who may have had access to the card.
Steps to Identify the Charge
- Log in to your Alignable account.
- Compare your bank or card statement with your Alignable payment history.
- Check whether you have a duplicate account under a different email address that may have its own active subscription.
- Confirm that no one else — a friend, family member, or current or former employee — may have used your payment method to sign up for a paid Alignable service.
- Check whether you have an active paid membership or sponsorship that is renewing automatically. If you want to stop future charges, follow these instructions to cancel your subscription.
