You may need to update your payment method if your card has expired, you have a new card or bank account, or if a recent payment attempt has failed. The updated payment method will be applied to all paid services on your account, including memberships, sponsorships, and paid groups.
How to Update Your Payment Method
- Log in to your Alignable account.
- Click the My Business (▼) dropdown in the top navigation and select Visit My Business Profile.
- Click Account in the top navigation.
- Click My Membership in the top navigation.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Payment Method under Payment Information.
- Enter your password when prompted. If you have not set a password yet, you will be asked to create one before continuing.
- Enter your new payment details and save.
What Happens If a Payment Fails
If a payment does not go through, Alignable will make a few additional attempts and send you email reminders with instructions on how to update your payment method. If the payment is not resolved, your account will be downgraded to the free plan and you will lose access to any paid features until the payment method is updated. If you are currently enjoying a discounted rate or legacy pricing, you will lose those upon re upgrading. You will upgrade at the then current pricing.
