I want to upgrade to a more expensive plan, will the price be pro-rated?

When you upgrade to a higher membership plan, we will prorate the charge. Meaning that we will credit you what you have not already used of your monthly membership.

Here is an example of proration if you were on the Alignable monthly plan, and chose to upgrade to Premium:

If you are Alignable Plan, and you upgrade to Premium halfway  (15 days) into your Alignable membership, we will divide the $29.00 you've paid for the full month by 2, then credit you for the time you haven't used - in this example that would be $14.50 in credit.

So the only charge you would receive to upgrade to Premium would be $34.50 - as this is the $49.00 per month minus the credit that transferred over from your Alignable membership ($49.00 - $14.50 = $34.50).

Unfortunately, the payment processor we use, Stripe, does not show the prorated amount in the checkout field, it will show the full amount for the membership.

Once you upgrade, you will only be charged the prorated amount for the new membership.
