When someone you have invited to Alignable accepts your invitation, Alignable automatically sends them a welcome message on your behalf. The message will be sent as a direct message from you. The message reads:
Hey [contact's name], I'm so glad you joined Alignable! It's a great place for us to exchange referrals. I'd be happy to make some introductions. Who are you trying to meet right now?
You cannot edit the content of this message — the text is fixed. You can only choose to send it or turn it off entirely.
Why We Recommend Keeping It On
First impressions matter, especially for someone brand new to Alignable. A new member who joins after accepting your invitation may not know what to do next or how the platform works. This message opens a conversation immediately, gives them a clear next step, and establishes you as a helpful contact right from the start. Turning it off means your new connection joins without any personal outreach from you, which often leads to confusion about why they were invited.
How to Turn Off the Welcome Message
- Go to your Welcome Message settings.
- Review the message and select the option to not send it.
