What Are Actions, Views, Clicks, and Referrals in Alignable Insights?

When you open your Insights page, the first thing you'll see is a row of four numbers at the top. These give you a quick snapshot of how active you've been and how visible your business is across Alignable. Here's what each one means.

Actions

Actions count the total networking activity you've taken on Alignable during the selected time period. This includes requesting or accepting a connection, recommending a member, making an introduction or referral, posting a discussion, commenting, joining a group, attending an event, connecting an address book, liking or sharing another member's content, or sending a message.

Think of Actions as your effort score — the more you put into the platform, the more visibility you get back.

Views

Views count every time your business name, profile details, or any content you've posted appears on another member's screen. This includes showing up in search results, group member lists, the network feed, event registrant lists, and anywhere else on the platform where your information is displayed.

A high Views count means your business is getting seen — even by members who haven't clicked through yet.

Clicks

Clicks count each time another member takes a deliberate action to engage with your business or content. This includes visiting your profile, liking your content, and clicking on your services, posts, comments, events, groups, or sponsorship ads.

Clicks are a stronger signal than Views — they indicate a member was interested enough to interact.

Referrals

Referrals count each time you're introduced to others through shares, recommendations, profile or service referrals, and network introductions. It also counts when a member is referred to your business website or phone number from your profile, or gets directions to your business address.

Referrals reflect the word-of-mouth value you're generating on the platform — a strong referral count means your network is actively vouching for you.

4-Week vs. 12-Week View

You can toggle between a 4-week and 12-week view at the top of the Insights page. The 4-week view is best for seeing recent activity and near-term trends. The 12-week view helps you spot longer patterns — like whether a new strategy is paying off over time.
