The Trends section of your Insights page breaks down exactly where your views and clicks are coming from across Alignable. Instead of one big number, you can see which parts of the platform are driving your visibility — so you know where your networking is working and where there's room to do more.
Groups and Discussions
This tracks visibility and engagement from posts and comments you've made across Alignable. It includes activity in all of your groups, your communities, and your network feed. When you post a discussion or comment on someone else's, members who see that content are counted here. This is often the highest source of views for active members — consistent posting keeps your name in front of your network.
My Network
This reflects visibility and engagement from activity within your direct network. When your connections engage with your content or your profile appears in network-related contexts — like connection suggestions or network feed activity — those views and clicks are tracked here. A strong, active network amplifies your reach beyond your own posts.
Business Profile
Your business profile appears throughout Alignable — in search results, group member lists, connection suggestions, event registrant lists, and more. This section tracks how often members landed on your profile and engaged with it. Keeping your profile complete and up to date directly improves your performance here.
Events
When you register for an event, your profile is visible to other registrants — and those views start immediately. Events also have discussion forums where participation adds to your visibility. After attending a Smart Connect℠ event, the members you met with in breakout sessions appear in your activity, giving you a clear record of new connections to follow up with.
Sponsorship
If you're a Community Sponsor, this section tracks visibility and engagement from your sponsor ad — including impressions and clicks from members who saw your ad across the platform. It's a direct measure of how much reach your sponsorship is generating, separate from your organic activity.
How to Use This Data
Look for your strongest source and double down on it. If Groups and Discussions is driving most of your views, posting consistently is working — keep going. If Events is low, registering for more Smart Connect℠ events could be an easy win. If your Business Profile views are underperforming, it may be time to refresh your profile with updated services, a photo, or a stronger business description.
