How Do I Use Post Insights to Grow My Network on Alignable?

Post Insights shows you how your posts are performing — who is viewing them, who is engaging, and what that engagement tells you about your audience. It is a practical tool for turning your posting activity into real networking strategy, not just a view counter.

Note: Post Insights operates on a rolling 12-week cycle. Once a post passes the 12-week mark, its analytics drop off. If a high-performing post falls outside that window, you may notice a significant shift in your overall views and clicks.

Track Your Post Performance

After you publish a post in a group, your community, or with your network, go to My Posts to see your metrics. Click Post Insights on any post to view views, clicks, and interactions. This tells you which posts are resonating and which are being skipped.

Identify Trends in Your Content

Look at which types of posts consistently attract the most engagement. Specific Groups? Is it questions? Tips? Personal stories about your business? Post Insights helps you see the patterns so you can lean into what works and spend less time on what does not.

Recognize Warm Leads and Referral Partners

Post Insights breaks down who is engaging with your posts — not just how many people, but whether those interactions are coming from potential customers or potential referral partners. Someone who comments on or likes multiple posts is signaling genuine interest. That is a warm lead worth paying attention to.

Connect With Engaged Members

When you spot someone who fits your ideal customer or referral partner profile and has interacted with your posts more than once, Post Insights flags them as a strong candidate for a connection request. You are not cold-reaching — you are following up on demonstrated interest. Use the Connect button directly from Post Insights to open a conversation and start building the relationship.
