Notes are private to you. No one else can see them, which means you can be as specific as you want — jot down what you talked about, flag someone to follow up with, or note a shared interest you want to reference next time.
Prepare for meetings and calls
One of the most powerful ways to use notes is for pre-meeting prep. Before a call, head to your connection's profile and review your notes to remind yourself what you discussed last time. Going into a conversation already knowing the history makes a real difference — it shows the other person that you remember them and value the relationship.
Find all your noted connections at once
You don't have to scroll through your entire network to find people you've added notes to. On the My Network page, click Filter and select Has Notes. This instantly surfaces every connection with a saved note, so you can work through your follow-up list efficiently.
Track upcoming appointments
Notes are also a simple way to log upcoming meetings. Add a note to a connection when you schedule a call, then use the Has Notes filter when it's time to prepare — you'll find everyone you need in one place.
