Tags let you organize your connections in a way that makes sense for how you actually network. Rather than scrolling through your entire list trying to remember who's who, you can tag connections with labels you create — then filter by those labels whenever you need to find the right people fast.
Tags are private to you. No one else can see them, which means you can label connections however is most useful for your workflow.
Ways to use tags:
The most common uses are tagging by industry ("Marketing," "Real Estate," "Healthcare"), by relationship stage ("Hot Lead," "Warm Intro," "Follow Up"), or by where you met ("Alignable Event," "Referral," "Local Chamber"). You can create any tag that fits your workflow — there are no restrictions on naming.
Filter your network by tag
Once you've tagged your connections, head to My Network, click Filter, and select the tag you want. This instantly surfaces every connection with that label, so you can focus on exactly the right group — whether you're doing outreach, prepping for calls, or working through a follow-up list.
Create your own tags or use existing ones
When you add a tag to a connection, you'll see a dropdown with any tags you've already created. You can select one from the list or type a new one to create it on the spot. Tags you create are available across all your connections, so you only have to create each one once.
Tags are a paid feature. If you downgrade your account, you'll lose access to your tags, but they won't be deleted — you'll regain full access when you upgrade again.
