What Are the Time Commitment and Expectations of an Alignable Ambassador?

Being an Alignable Ambassador is a real leadership role, not a passive title. On average, Ambassadors spend 4 to 5 hours per week on their role. Most Ambassadors find that the more time they invest, the more engaged their Alliance becomes — and the more they benefit from the position. Your actual weekly time will vary depending on your location, team size, and event calendar.

Monthly Minimums

Every Ambassador is expected to meet the following each month:

  • Host at least 1 in-person event within your Alliance. Virtual events are encouraged and unlimited, but the in-person minimum is required.
  • Start at least 2 discussions in your local Alignable community to keep members engaged.
  • Attend the monthly Ambassador meeting (held to recap new features, resources, and updates from the Alignable team).

What Nurturing Your Alliance Looks Like

The 2-to-5 hours per week includes active, ongoing leadership — not just showing up to events. In practice, nurturing your Alliance means starting and participating in group discussions, messaging members and following up after events, actively inviting new members to join and grow the Alliance, and keeping the group active and welcoming so people want to come back.

What Happens If Minimums Are Not Met

If an Ambassador does not meet the monthly minimums, they will receive a warning and coaching to get back on track. If the minimums continue to go unmet, the Ambassador will be removed from the position.
