Alignable is not spam. Alignable is an online referral network for small business owners. We will never sell or share your private business contacts with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details, or learn more in What Is Alignable?
Why Is My Address Book Receiving Emails?
When you join Alignable, you have the option to connect your email address book to find business connections who are already members. This step is completely optional. If you don't want to import your address book, simply hit Skip when prompted. You can always review your referral opportunities later.
If you do connect your address book, you maintain full control over who you connect with and who you invite. Alignable runs your contacts against its small business database, shows you who is already a member, and lets you choose who to invite.
How Adding Your Address Book to Alignable Works
- When joining Alignable, you'll receive a prompt to search for people you already know on the platform.
- After you connect your address book, Alignable runs it against its small business database to find matches.
- Your contacts are organized into two groups: those who are already on Alignable, and those you can invite to join.
- You choose who to send invitations to. "Invite All" is pre-selected for convenience — deselect it if you'd prefer to choose contacts individually.
- Connections who accept your invitation will see an "Invited By [Your Business Name]" link on their page, generating extra traffic to your profile and showing how connected you both are to your community.
Note: Connecting with someone already on Alignable through your address book does not use a connection credit.
