Sponsorship: 90-Day Quick-Start Action Plan

This 90-day plan is designed to help you get the most out of your Alignable sponsorship from day one. It covers the daily and weekly habits that build visibility, the monthly milestones that mark real progress, and the specific actions that turn your sponsorship into leads and relationships. Work through it at your own pace — the goal is consistent progress, not perfection.

Minimum Daily Tasks

  • Visit your Sponsorship Dashboard
  • Connect with all new leads — craft a personalized message to each one
  • Respond to all messages in your inbox
  • Respond to all recommendation requests (if applicable)
  • Review Post Insights for updates on your comments and posts

Minimum Weekly Tasks

  • Post in your Community Group
  • Post in each group you've joined — create new posts tailored to each group
  • Post to your Home Feed — helpful content like blogs, videos, interviews, or customer success stories
  • Comment on others' posts where relevant
  • Select 5–10 high-value connections you haven't heard from in 3 weeks and follow up to keep the conversation warm. Example: "Hi, it's been a few weeks — how is business going?"

Month 1: Foundation and Launch

Week 1: Profile Optimization and Network Growth

Day 1

  • Complete 100% of your profile sections:
    • Upload high-quality photos (headshot, banner, logo — and a gallery if you have a physical product or service)
    • Write a compelling About Us section (use the Elevator Pitch AI to get started)
    • Complete your Ideals section and select 8–10 tags for Ideal Customers and Businesses We Can Partner With
    • Add all products and services you provide

Day 2

  • Bring your existing network into Alignable using the Alignable Contact Finder
  • Invite businesses using your custom invitation link
  • Join your Alignable Alliance (if applicable) and register for any in-person events to meet local members

Day 3

  • Review posts in your Community Group — look at content type and cadence. What gets engagement? How often do people post?
  • Post in your Community Group — tie a local topic (sports teams, events, community news) back to business. Be inquisitive, ask for advice, share a useful tip, or celebrate a community win. This is not a place to pitch your services.
  • Join 2 Alignable groups that interest you

Day 4

  • Register for a Lunch & Learn: Mastering Local Networking event to learn how to target the community you sponsor
  • Join 3 groups where your ideal partners or clients could be active

Day 5

  • Make any updates or tweaks to your ad by 12pm Eastern
  • Request 3–5 initial recommendations from contacts you've already worked with. Example: "Hi [Name], I'm building up my Alignable profile. If you feel comfortable, could you leave me a recommendation based on our work together? Thank you so much."

Week 2: Warming Up the Audience

  • Post in your Community Group following the cadence of the group
  • Comment on at least 1 post in each group you joined — be helpful or uplifting. Do not sell or introduce yourself.
  • Register for a Smart Connect℠ Networking Event

Week 3: Be Seen

  • Comment on posts where relevant
  • After reviewing content and cadence in the groups you joined, create a post in each one. Stay on topic, be inquisitive, ask for or give advice, and be a good community member.
  • Update your advertisement including the visual by 12pm Eastern on Friday
  • Set up tracking to measure your results

Example tracking template:

Metric Goal Actual
Profile views
New connections
Quality conversations
Qualified leads

Potential referral partners

Week 4: Start Targeting

  • Use your tags to target ideal clients and send the rest of your connection requests — write a custom message for each person based on who they are

  • Request 2–3 additional recommendations

Month 1 Goal: 10+ connections, 6+ meaningful conversations, 1–3 qualified leads

Week 5: Analyze and Adjust

  • Review your Month 1 performance metrics
  • Identify top-performing messages that received responses

  • Adjust engagement in underperforming groups (post style, cadence, content)
  • Document what's working so you can do more of it

Week 6: Scale What Works

  • Send more connection requests using your proven messages
  • Double down on content types that got engagement
  • Reach out to partners for reciprocal referrals
