How Do I Report a Scam, Fake, or Fraudulent Business on Alignable?

If you've encountered a business on Alignable that appears to be a scam, is impersonating someone, or is flooding the platform with spam, please report it. Alignable's Network Security team will investigate and take appropriate action.

What Counts as a Scam, Fake, or Fraudulent Business?

  • Scam, phishing, or malware: The business asked you for personal information or money, or posted suspicious links.
  • Spam or overly promotional: The business posts irrelevant content repeatedly to drive visibility rather than engage genuinely with the community.
  • Fake or impersonating business: The profile appears to be a phony account or is impersonating a real person or business.

What You'll Need to Submit a Report

  • The business name of the member you're reporting
  • Their profile URL (format: alignable.com/biz/city-state/business-name)
  • Their location (city, state or province, and country)
  • Proof or reason you believe they are fake.  Screenshots of messages, court records, or anything that shows why we should review this account.
    • Please note descriptions such as "Scam" or "Bad Person" will not be reviewed.

You'll also be asked to provide some basic information about your own business. This will not be shared with the reported member — it's only used to locate your Alignable account and understand any interactions you may have had with them.
