If you have been added to a group chat by one of your connections, or if you created a group chat email of your own and would like to mute Group Chat emails, follow the instructions below:

This article is meant for members who have already been added to a Group Chat and would like to mute email notifications for a specific Group Chat. The controls to mute emails for a Group Chat are only available for message threads that live in the Group Chat section of Messages.
To mute Group Chat emails on a desktop or laptop device follow these steps:

Log into your account and go to Messages.
Log into Alignable and find the messages tab in the top navigation menu.

Find the group chat you'd like to mute.
On the left-hand menu, find and click on the Group Chat you'd like to mute the email notifications on:

Open your group chat controls.
Click on the dots (
) in the top right-hand corner of the message thread to open your Group Chat controls:

Mute or unmute group chat emails to your preference.
A menu will open with your group chat controls. Click Mute Emails to mute the group chat. Or Click Unmute Emails to unmute emails for the group chat.
To mute or unmute emails for a group chat on a mobile device follow these steps:

Log into your account and go to Messages.
Log into Alignable and find the messages tab.

Find the group chat you'd like to mute.
In the group menu, find and tap the Group Chat you'd like to rename:

Open your group chat controls.
To mute the emails for a specific Group Chat, tap on the dots (
) in the top right-hand corner of the message thread to open your Group Chat controls. Tap Mute Emails, or tap Unmute emails.
